One square foot of fun! At just 12" x 12", these plump little pillows pack a design wallop twice their size. This project shows you how much fun it is to mix and match colors, patterns and collections to really rock a brand new holiday look. That's what our Re-imagine &; Renovate series is all about. We pull out a classic fave tutorial and give it a whole new spin with fresh fabrics, trims and notions. Today, we show you how to light up the season with a holiday punch of three amazing collections from FreeSpirit fabrics: Super Fly from Jennifer Paganellicanvas throw pillow covers, Kumari Garden Holiday from Dena Designs and Star Flakes and Glitter from Tina Givens.?

A big thanks to FreeSpirit Fabrics for sponsoring today's R&;R project and providing the fabric. Here's the blend for our four Happy Pom Pom Pillows:

canvas throw pillow covers

Super Fly Jane in Mustard by Jennier Paganelli and Kumari Garden Tara in Red by Dena Designs with red poms.?

Super Fly Jane in Blue by Jennier Paganelli and Super Fly Lauralee in Mustard by Jennier Paganelli with yellow poms.

Super Fly Lauralee in Green by Jennier Paganelli and Kumari Garden Lalit in Red by Dena Designs with black poms.

Super Fly Lauralee in Orange by Jennier Paganelli and Star Flakes and Glitter Stardust in Green by Tina Givens with orange poms.

Jennifer Pagnelli's Super Fly and Tina Givens' Star Flakes and Glitter were both June 2012 collections, and Kumari Garden Holiday is actually a 2011 collection. You can check your favorite fabric source to find out if they still have yardage in stock or can get it for you. Be sure to look at our Marketplace for our fave sources; we found some cuts still available at Fabric.com for Kumari Garden Holiday, as well as Star Flakes and Glitter and Super Fly. You can also try Googling the fabric name along with the designer's name or the design house, for example: "Star Flakes and Glitter" and "Free Spirit Fabrics." Small cuts from older collections can also sometimes be found from individual sellers on Etsy or eBay. As we always mention when it comes to finding fabric, if you love a fabric, get it while you can. Because, like fashionable apparel, popular fabrics come and go; at some point, even the most amazing fabrics are no longer in stores or online.

We recommend Poly-Fil? Soft Touch? pillow inserts from Fairfield Processing to get the just the right chubby tufting. If you are new to covering buttons, we have two tutorials, one using?Covered Button Kits?(what we did here) and one about?Making Your Own.

You are about to see the crowning jewel of the dining room. I have long loved the Cellula chandelier, although the price tag makes me faint. The dining room mood board included the lower-end linear strand crystal chandelier, but the $349 price tag was still more than I wanted to spend. ?So, of course, I made my own DIY version for about $170. I first saw the idea on Ikea Hackers with a Glimt light, which Ikea no longer stocks.
